Alzheimer’s disease is a neurological disorder in which the death of brain cells causes memory loss and cognitive decline. A special device with artificial intelligence able to predict it has been invented by the young scientists of Sechenov University.

“Our study is aimed at recognizing neurological diseases at the earliest stages, when pathological processes of the disease have already started, but there are no obvious symptoms yet,” — notes Mr. Ilya Kalinin, student of the International School “Medicine of the Future” of Sechenov University.

The new diagnosis method is quite simple: a patient only needs to look at the camera. Then the program scans the patients’s face determining whether he/she is healthy or not.
