As one of the founders of the Russia-China Association of Medical Universities, Sechenov University will hold a meeting between the members of the Association Council and the Medical Schools Rectors Committee in the Russian city of Tyumen on 8-9 October 2019. The main purpose of this event is to exchange the best practices between the universities of Russia and China.

Another event will take place at the Tyumen Federal Centre of Neurosurgery which is due to host the first Russia-China Neurosurgery Symposium run in collaboration with the Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons. It is the chance to hear from over 150 members of the participating universities both from Russia and China and take part in various workshops and clinical case studies.
