The Department of Nursing Management and Social Work was established in 1996 and became the first department of the Faculty of Higher Nursing Education. Since January 31, 2018, the department is part of the medical and preventive faculty.
The head of the department of management of nursing and social work is Candidate of Medical Sciences, professor, associate professor Natalia Alekseevna Kasimovskaya.

Currently, the department carries out teaching of disciplines and conducting practices at various faculties of the university and at the Center for Master’s programs.
