The Department of Propaedeutics of Children’s Diseases of the Pediatric Faculty was organized in accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education First Moscow State Medical University. I.M.Shechenov from 10.11.2011. and the order of the Rector from 11.29.2011.

With the participation of S.I. Ordes, the foundations were laid for the teaching of propedeutics of children’s diseases in the First MGMU named after IM Sechenov. The department implements the disciplines “Polyclinic in Pediatrics”, “Emergency conditions in Pediatrics”, Practice on obtaining professional skills and experience of professional children “General Medicine in Pediatrics”, “Childhood Diseases (Propedeutics of Children’s Diseases)”, “Nursing manipulations in pediatrics”, “Nursing”, “First Aid and Patient Care”, educational practice “Nursing”, the practice of “Nursing” for teaching students of 1, 2, 3 and 6 courses of the pediatric faculty. The implementation of educational programs is carried out in the framework of the GEF 3+. Particular attention is paid to the formation of professional competencies and practical skills of students of the pediatric faculty, as well as the preparation of graduates for accreditation in the framework of the professional standard “Doctor-pediatrician district”. The department introduces innovative methods in the educational process using remote electronic learning tools, modern simulation methods.
